Primary Care Careers are part of the NHS and since 2021 have been funded at ICB level to provide a strategic end-to-end recruitment service to primary care. In 2024, working in partnership with the dental team, PCC expanded their service across dentistry in SNEE on a trial basis.
The pilot gained significant momentum, with 50 vacancies having been advertised and more than 10 posts being filled. The roles filled include: a chief operating officer, a senior dentist, several dental therapists, and a dental nurse.
